Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) – Union Public Service Commission is an Indian organization. Which is established in October 1, 1926 (87 years ago). It was formerly known as Federal Public Service Commission of India which was on 26th January 1950 it was provided the Constitutional Status and name was changed to Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The Chairperson of UPSC is Deepak Gupta. The Chairman and other member of the union pubic service commission are appointed by the President of India.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a Government Department of India. The UPSC is India’s central Agency authorized to regulate and control the examination like Civil Service Examination, Engineering Service Examination , Combined Defence Service Examination etc. UPSC got its charter by the Constitution of India. As per the article 315 to 323 of part XIV of the constitution, it gave the implementation of Union Public Service Commission in India.

Eligiblity Criteria For UPSC Department :
Required Educational Qualification For UPSC Online Exam :- The candidate must hold a degree of any of the Universities which is incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions, established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Or, candidates need to possess an equivalent qualification of the aforesaid qualification description.
Age Limit For UPSC Exam :- The candidate’s must be of 21 years and must not exceed 32 years on the 1st of August, 2016 (i.e., A candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1984 and not later than 1st August, 1995). Age relaxation is applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST Category & 03 years for OBC Category candidates.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus For UPSC Online :-
The Union Public Service Commission Online Exam is conducted in two stage Preliminary exam, Main Exam which are then followed by Interview. There are two compulsory papers of 200 marks Preliminary Examination. Both the question papers set in (Hindi & English) are objective type of two hours each.
UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2018 :
The mains examination will consist of written examination and an interview test. The written examination will consist of 09 Paper’s of conventional essay type in the subjects set out in sub-section (B) of Section II out of which two papers will of qualifying.
